Brief introduction
Bettersize2000 is an intelligent particle size analyzer that adopts dual lens technology, which has particular functions of auto test, auto alignment, auto water supply, auto drainage, auto bubble removing, auto cleaning etc. It adopts high performance imported semiconductor laser and life time is greater than 25000 hours. As adopting imported high precision battery of lenses, imaging clearly and low distortion, which ensures that weak scattered light signals and light signals from various angles can be detected completely. Principles
Laser diffraction measures particle size distributions by measuring the angular variation in intensity of light scattered as a laser beam passes through a dispersed particulate sample. Large particles scatter light at small angles relative to the laser beam and small particles scatter light at large angles, as illustrated below. The angular scattering intensity data is then analyzed to calculate the size of the particles responsible for creating the scattering pattern, using the Mie theory of light scattering. The particle size is reported as a volume equivalent sphere diameter.

Kindly reminder:
Repeatability is primary index of particle size analyzer. It is worthless for particle size analyzer if repeatability is not good. Repeatability is related to the instrument, also, related to the operator, voltage, water quality and interference. It is a reflection of integrated factors.
